Don't let the petite size of these peppers fool you, piquins are hot! About ten times hotter than the jalapeno, in fact.
With a complex smoky flavour beneath the heat, piquin peppers are highly versatile - rehydrate them and make your own hot sauce, or salsa, or throw them into soups and stews. Alternatively use them dry by blitzing them and use as you would your normal chilli powder.
